Sánchez Slams PP and VOX Over Iran War Silence

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has sharply criticised the People’s Party and VOX over their stance on the U.S. and Israeli military operations in Iran, calling the conflict “an absolute disaster.”

Speaking in parliament on March 25, Sánchez said that remaining silent in the face of what he described as an unjust war was not foresight but cowardice.

He also repeated his opposition to the U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, which he has described as illegal and dangerously destabilising.

His remarks reflect a widening political split in Spain over the conflict and its economic fallout.
