Ukraine Strikes Russian Oil Terminal And Refinery As Drone War Intensifies

Ukraine struck a key Russian oil terminal at Primorsk on the Baltic coast and a refinery in Ufa on Monday, marking a significant expansion of Kyiv’s campaign against Russian energy infrastructure.

The strikes come as Zelenskyy warned publicly that Ukraine faces a growing missile deficit with Washington’s attention and resources consumed by the Iran war.

Overnight, Russia fired a Kinzhal aeroballistic missile and 442 drones at Ukraine — approximately 300 of them Shahed-type — of which Ukrainian air defences downed around 380.

A separate incident saw a Ukrainian drone land in Finnish territory, with Helsinki confirming one was identified as Ukrainian.

Russian losses since the start of the full-scale invasion have now reached an estimated 1,296,700 troops.
