IAEA Chief Demands Access to Bombed Iranian Nuclear Sites

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, is pressing for inspectors to be granted access to Iranian nuclear facilities damaged in last year’s Israeli and US strikes, as a potential deal to end the war takes shape.

A confidential IAEA report confirms Iran has not allowed inspections of the bombed sites and that inspectors “cannot verify” whether enrichment has been suspended or assess the size of Iran’s uranium stockpile.

The nuclear access issue is a central sticking point in the Islamabad process, with the US demanding full dismantlement of enrichment capacity and Iran insisting on its civilian right to enrich.
