Erdogan backs Trump’s Gaza rebuild with massive aid convoy

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has launched one of the largest aid operations since the Gaza ceasefire, sending 350 trucks of supplies and pledging to increase the number to 600 a day.

He called the U.S.-backed Gaza reconstruction plan “not just symbolic” and urged Europe and Gulf states to move beyond financial pledges and contribute on the ground.

The Turkish convoys include fuel, tents, and winter supplies aimed at stabilising life in the devastated enclave.

Erdogan described the effort as a “historic reset,” insisting this time the ceasefire must deliver lasting recovery and political change.
