Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi flew to St Petersburg for talks with Vladimir Putin, who claimed he had received a personal message from Iran’s reclusive new supreme leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.

Goldman Sachs has raised its Brent oil forecast to $90 a barrel through late 2026, signalling that markets expect the regime in Tehran to keep bleeding for months yet.
