Islamic Republic Execute At Least 1,922 Iranians

Human rights groups report that the Iranian regime executed at least 1,922 people in 2025, the highest annual figure in more than ten years.

The number of executions more than doubled compared to 2024, reflecting an intensifying campaign of repression targeting protesters, minorities and political prisoners.

Analysts say the surge exposes a regime willing to use extreme brutality to maintain control at home while simultaneously funding Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis abroad.

Activists warn that Iran’s execution machinery is accelerating and that international pressure has so far failed to curb the regime’s violence against its own citizens.
