Labour Peer Tells Starmer He “Cannot Conceivably Continue”

Keir Starmer’s crisis has deepened with a Labour peer, Lord Maurice Glasman, publicly declaring the Prime Minister “cannot conceivably continue” and Hartlepool MP Jonathan Brash becoming the first sitting Labour MP to openly demand his resignation.

Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar has also urged Starmer to step down.

The Prime Minister told his cabinet yesterday he was “not prepared to walk away” but the parliamentary party is openly briefing that his authority is broken.

Olly Robbins’s testimony revealed Mandelson was pushed through before vetting was complete and given STRAP clearance anyway.

Local elections hit in two weeks.

The question inside Labour is no longer if, but when.
