Poland Open to Swapping MiG 29 Jets for Ukrainian Anti Drone Systems

Poland says it is ready to transfer additional MiG 29 fighter jets to Ukraine in exchange for advanced anti drone systems.

Karol Nawrocki confirmed that Warsaw does not rule out a direct exchange and that both sides are already discussing the framework.

He added that once the formal requirements are completed, the agreement could be finalised.

Poland has been one of Ukraine’s most consistent military backers and previously supplied several MiG 29s from its own fleet.

Kyiv is seeking more air capabilities while offering cutting edge drone defence technology in return, as both countries deepen their strategic cooperation.
