Danny Kruger, MP for East Wiltshire since 2019, has officially left the Conservative Party and joined Reform UK led by Nigel Farage.
He made the announcement at a press conference today.
Kruger said he had been “a member, an activist, an employee of the Conservative Party for over 20 years” and that he felt the party is “no longer viable as a national force”.
As part of his defection, he will lead Reform UK’s “Preparing for Government” initiative.
His move brings Reform’s parliamentary presence to five MPs.
