President Trump said IRGC is now engaging with the United States because it knows it has been decisively defeated.
Speaking as diplomatic contacts continued, Trump said Tehran realises it has a disaster on its hands and would not be talking otherwise.
He argued that Iran cannot make a comeback and is now being forced to confront the scale of its losses.
Reuters reported on March 26 that Trump said Iranian leaders were eager for a deal, although IRGC officials publicly pushed back against that characterisation and said the U.S. proposal remained one sided and unfair.
