Turkey to join task force to find hostages’ bodies in Gaza

A senior Turkish official told Reuters that Turkey will join a joint task force with the United States, Qatar, Egypt and Israel to help locate the bodies of hostages believed to have been killed in Gaza.

The initiative is part of ongoing mediation efforts following recent ceasefire negotiations.

Turkish involvement reflects Ankara’s renewed engagement in the humanitarian and diplomatic response to the conflict.

Officials say the task force will share intelligence, coordinate recovery operations and assist in identifying remains as part of wider efforts to bring closure to families of the missing.
