US and Israeli air strikes continued to pound Iran on Tuesday, with powerful explosions reported in both Tehran and Isfahan as the conflict entered its 32nd day.
The Israeli military said it struck the Imam Hossein University in Tehran, which it claimed was used by the IRGC for advanced weapons research.
Iran’s latest wave of regional attacks, described as the 87th in a month, was launched by the Iranian navy, which Washington had claimed was largely destroyed.
IRGC naval commander Admiral Alireza Tangsiri was confirmed killed in an Israeli strike.
Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu said the war had achieved more than half its aims, while more than 200 US soldiers have filed complaints over superiors using religious rhetoric to justify the campaign.
