NATO Warns Russia “Escalatory” Air Violations Along Eastern Flank Must Stop

NATO has issued a stern warning to Russia, demanding an end to what it describes as a pattern of “escalatory” airspace violations along its eastern flank.

The alliance condemned recent incidents including fighter jets entering Estonian airspace and repeated drone intrusions into Poland, calling them dangerous provocations.

NATO officials say these violations have eroded trust and heightened risk of miscalculation.

An emergency meeting under Article 4 of the NATO treaty has been convened to coordinate an allied response.

NATO chief Mark Rutte emphasized the alliance’s readiness to defend its territory and rights.
