Two British Lebanese Men Charged in UK Over Hezbollah Membership

UK authorities have charged two British Lebanese men with belonging to Hezbollah, accusing them of attending terror training camps linked to the group.

Counterterrorism detectives say the charges follow a lengthy investigation involving overseas intelligence and digital evidence.

Prosecutors allege both men travelled abroad to take part in organised weapons and combat training before returning to the UK.

The Home Office has classified Hezbollah in its entirety as a terrorist organisation since 2019, making membership a criminal offence.

Both suspects remain in custody and are expected to appear before a London court as the case moves into the pre trial phase.
