Anti-Hamas Protests In Gaza Escalate

In recent days, the Gaza Strip has witnessed rare public demonstrations against Hamas, the Islamist group governing the territory.

Hundreds of Palestinians gathered in northern Gaza, particularly in Beit Lahia, chanting slogans such as “Hamas out” and “Hamas terrorists,” expressing frustration over the ongoing conflict with Israel.

Protesters carried banners reading “Stop the war” and “We want to live in peace.”

These protests, the largest against Hamas since the war began, highlight growing discontent among Gazans.

Hamas responded by deploying masked gunmen to disperse the demonstrators forcibly.
