Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has fired on and seized two more vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, the MSC Francesca and the Epaminodes, both now being held at an Iranian port.
The regime accuses the ships of violating its declared blockade of the strait, a claim with no basis in international law, as Iran has no legal authority to close the waterway.
The seizures come hours before the US-Iran ceasefire expires and as Trump threatens to resume bombing.
The IRGC is openly weaponising shipping to extract leverage at the negotiating table.
Every commercial vessel in the Gulf is now a potential Iranian hostage.
