The wife and children of Abdul Qadir Mumin, identified as the new global head of Islamic State, are reportedly living in taxpayer funded social housing in Slough.
Mumin is believed to operate from Somalia’s Puntland region where he leads ISIS activities.
His family, however, has remained in Britain for years after he left them and travelled abroad.
Critics argue it is unacceptable for relatives of one of the world’s most wanted terrorists to receive public support while security services monitor extremist threats.
The revelations have intensified calls for stricter vetting of social housing beneficiaries and tougher immigration controls.
