Man Arrested After Deadly Stabbing in South Korea

A man in his 50s has been arrested following a stabbing rampage in Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, that left two people dead and two others injured.

The attacks began around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, when the suspect stabbed a convenience store owner, a woman in her 60s, before fleeing the scene.

Police discovered a body believed to be the car owner linked to the suspect’s vehicle at a nearby residence.

Later, the suspect stabbed a man in his 70s at a park approximately 2 kilometres away.

Another body was found at the suspect’s home, bringing the total number of fatalities to two.

The suspect was apprehended hours after the attacks and has confessed to all charges.

He is currently in custody at the Siheung Police Station, where authorities are investigating his motives and the details of the incident.

Local authorities had issued warnings to residents during the manhunt, advising them to stay indoors and report any sightings of the suspect.
