German authorities arrested a dual German-Polish national named Martin S. in Dortmund for allegedly operating a darknet platform that published death-lists of politicians, circulated bomb-making instructions and offered cryptocurrency bounties for killings.
Prosecutors say the site had operated since at least June 2025 and included sensitive personal data of potential targets.
He faces charges including terrorism financing, incitement to violence and illegal dissemination of personal data.
Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt described the platform as “right-wing extremist” and part of a wider surge in cyber-enabled threats against public figures in Germany.
The investigation remains ongoing with federal prosecutors handling the case.
