Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has warned that any attempt to seize Greenland would trigger a historic disaster.
Speaking on the issue, Tusk said a conflict involving the territory of a NATO member being targeted by another NATO member, especially the United States, would mark “the end of the world as we know it.”
He described such a scenario as a catastrophe and stressed that it would shatter the foundations of the alliance.
His remarks reflect growing unease in Europe over tensions surrounding Greenland’s strategic importance and alliance unity.
