Starmer Loses Communications Chief After Five Months

Keir Starmer’s Director of Communications, Tim Allan, has resigned after just five months in the role.

The departure comes a day after the prime minister also lost his Chief of Staff, compounding turmoil at the top of government.

The back to back exits are likely to intensify questions about stability inside Number 10, as pressure mounts on Starmer’s leadership and internal confidence appears to be eroding.
