Turkish Navy Frigates Reportedly Begin Escorting the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza

Turkish Navy frigates have reportedly begun escorting the Global Sumud Flotilla, now estimated to be three days from Gaza.

According to organisers, the vessels contacted the flotilla to confirm their needs and pledged support and protection during the voyage.

So far, there is no confirmation from Turkish or NATO officials outlining the rules of engagement, exact escort location, or whether this is a symbolic gesture or active protection.

The flotilla, composed of over 50 civilian boats, has already encountered multiple drone and interference during its journey.
