7 Arrested After IRGC Members Attack Londoners

Seven men were arrested outside Iran’s embassy in London after a violent attack on the anti-regime protestors left two injured.

The demonstrators – supporters of exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi – had been camped outside the embassy, flying flags of the former monarchy and Israel.

The Met Police banned protests in the area and confirmed arrests on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.

The unrest comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East as Iran and Israel exchange fire.

Many Iranians abroad see the regional conflict as a potential tipping point to bring down the Islamic Republic.
