European nations in the “Coalition of the Willing” are drafting three possible military cooperation plans to be enacted after a peace agreement with Russia, according to Der Spiegel.
The first option is an observer mission, with personnel monitoring compliance with the deal.
The second is a large-scale training program that would see Western militaries train Ukrainian troops.
The third, and most ambitious, is a frontline security deployment involving more than 150,000 EU soldiers in combat units supported by air cover.
The proposals are under active discussion as allies debate long-term security guarantees for Ukraine.
