Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi Attacked In Berlin

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has been attacked in Berlin, with assailants throwing orange paint at the Iranian opposition leader.

Pahlavi, the heir to the Pahlavi dynasty and one of the most prominent voices for regime change in Tehran, was targeted while in the German capital.

The attack comes as the Islamic Republic faces its deepest crisis since 1979, with the regime’s military gutted and the ceasefire with the US unravelling.

Pahlavi has emerged as a rallying figure for Iranians inside and outside the country calling for a secular democratic transition.

Orange-paint attacks on dissidents are a known tactic of regime-aligned activists abroad.

The intimidation campaign is now operating openly on European soil.
