French President Emmanuel Macron says renewed talks with Vladimir Putin may eventually be required, but only under conditions set by Europe and with Ukraine fully involved.
Macron stated that “it will become useful again to talk to Vladimir Putin” while stressing that any future negotiations must be European led and fully transparent.
He added that until such conditions are met, Europe must “continue to finance, to commit, to resist and to help Ukraine.”
His remarks signal a cautious openness to diplomacy while reaffirming France’s support for Kyiv in the ongoing war.
