Police Make Mass Arrests in LA During Night time Curfew

Los Angeles police carried out mass arrests last night after hundreds defied a downtown curfew amid ongoing riots against federal immigration raids.

More than 300 people were detained, with at least 25 held by Tuesday evening for curfew violations.

Mayor Bass imposed an 8 p.m.– 6 a.m. curfew over a one‑square‑mile area following five nights of escalating unrest.

The LAPD, supported by police helicopters, enforced restrictions as the federal deployment of 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines continues.

Legal battles over the military presence and curfew remain ongoing.
