Putin Says Israel Has Guaranteed Safety of Russians at Iran’s Nuclear Plant

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Israel has provided assurances for the safety of Russian personnel stationed at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear facility.

The plant, a long-standing joint project between Moscow and Tehran, has been under Russian cooperation for more than 30 years.

Amid rising tensions and regional conflict, the statement signals a behind-the-scenes understanding between Moscow and Jerusalem to avoid escalation involving Russian citizens.

The Bushehr site remains a critical symbol of Iran’s nuclear development and Russian strategic involvement in the region.
