Thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets across the Democratic Republic of Congo to demand the resignation of President Félix Tshisekedi.
Protesters are voicing frustration over economic hardship, corruption and what they see as a failure to improve security and public services.
Demonstrations were reported in major cities, with crowds chanting slogans against the government and calling for political reform.
Security forces were deployed in some areas to manage the protests, though there are no confirmed reports of major violence so far.
The rallies mark one of the most widespread challenges to Tshisekedi’s leadership since he took office.
