Zohran Mamdani’s win puts New York City at risk

Zohran Mamdani has been elected mayor of New York City, becoming the city’s first Muslim and youngest mayor in over a century.

His campaign focused on radical socialism such as taxpayer funded public transport, rent freezes, and steep tax hikes.

Critics say these policies could drive businesses and investors out of the city.

A recent poll found more than a quarter of New Yorkers are considering leaving under his leadership.

Many fear Mamdani’s far-left agenda could turn New York into a socialist experiment that risks crippling its economy and worsening crime and homelessness.
