Araghchi Lands In Pakistan For Second Round Of Talks

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Islamabad this evening with a small delegation, confirming Tehran’s return to the negotiating table for a second round of US-Iran talks.

Araghchi is on a round trip that will also take him to Muscat and Moscow.

Pakistani mediators expect Washington to send negotiators in the coming days.

Trump told reporters he wants “the best deal” but refused to set a timeline, telling the press “don’t rush me” and admitting the US does not know who is actually in charge in Tehran.

Brent crude remains above one hundred and seven dollars a barrel.

The Strait of Hormuz is still blocked. Diplomatic survival, not peace, is the current objective.
