Marco Rubio said it will be hard to reach a deal with Iran, as Washington prepares for a new round of nuclear talks.
Rubio told reporters that negotiations are challenging because Iran’s leadership makes policy decisions driven by ideological priorities, not traditional geopolitical logic.
He expressed cautious hope that diplomacy could still succeed, but stressed that any meaningful agreement will be tough to achieve given Tehran’s stance and the complexity of the issues at hand.
