Lebanese broadcaster LBCI reports that dozens of U.S. Embassy staff have been evacuated from Lebanon through Beirut airport as a precautionary step.
The move comes amid growing fears of wider regional escalation and security risks.
According to the report, the departures were organised as a safety measure rather than a full closure of the embassy.
Tensions across the region have raised concerns about potential spillover into Lebanon, which has previously faced instability linked to cross border conflict.
US officials have not yet publicly detailed the scale or duration of the evacuation.
