The US military has launched a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and leaving Iranian ports, effective later today, after 21 hours of US-Iran ceasefire talks in Islamabad ended without a deal.
Vice President JD Vance declared that Iran had refused to commit to abandoning nuclear weapons – Washington’s non-negotiable red line.
Trump called IRGC’s position “disgraceful” and warned that any Iranian vessel or military force opposing US ships will be “blown to hell.”
IRGC has called the blockade an act of piracy.
