Corrupt UN defend Afghan migrants after D.C. shooting

The United Nations has called on the United States to avoid stigmatizing Afghan people in the aftermath of a recent shooting involving an Afghan individual.

The appeal comes amid fears that the incident could inflame anti-Afghan sentiment and fuel discrimination.

UN officials warned that collective blame on Afghans would be unfair and counterproductive.

They stressed the importance of judging individuals on their own actions rather than attributing guilt to an entire nationality, underscoring the need for careful language in public discourse to protect the community from backlash.
