The Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel advisory urging all citizens to avoid travel to Venezuela because of a serious and rapidly worsening security situation.
The warning applies to any travel type including tourism and business and remains in effect until further notice.
Swedes already in Venezuela are advised to stay alert, follow local guidance, and consider leaving if possible.
