Serbian authorities say an assassination attempt targeting President Aleksandar Vučić and his family has been thwarted.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed the arrest of two suspects in the city of Kraljevo.
The men, born in 1975 and 1983, are accused of planning the attack between December 2025 and February 2026.
Officials allege the plot was part of a wider plan to violently overthrow the constitutional order.
Further details about the operation and the suspects’ motives have not yet been made public as investigations continue.
