Russia says it is ready to help Cuba as the island faces a deepening energy and humanitarian crisis.
Moscow reaffirmed its backing for Havana after recent U.S. pressure and said it remains in contact with the Cuban leadership, though officials did not specify exactly what further assistance would involve.
Reuters reported earlier that Russia had signalled readiness to offer support, including financial help, while avoiding public detail on possible oil deliveries.
