Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of endangering both regional and global peace, saying Netanyahu’s “terrorism” continues to threaten wider stability.
The remark comes as Ankara steps up its criticism of Israel’s military actions and warns that the conflict risks spiralling into a broader regional crisis.
Turkey has repeatedly called for restraint, diplomacy and an end to further escalation, while positioning itself as opposed to any expansion of the war across the Middle East.
