Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa said the war involving Iran is a rare and major event not seen on this scale since World War Two, but stressed that Damascus is carefully calculating its steps to avoid being drawn in.
He said Syria’s priority is to stay on the path of development and reconstruction rather than return to being consumed by regional conflict.
Al-Sharaa also said Syria, after years as an arena for war and instability, is now in harmony with neighbouring countries both regionally and internationally.
