US President Donald Trump has declared that Cuba is “ready to fall,” claiming the communist government is nearing collapse under economic pressure and public anger.
Trump said decades of failed socialism have left the island impoverished and unstable, with shortages and unrest eroding regime control.
His remarks come as Havana faces severe fuel shortages, food scarcity and a growing wave of emigration.
Cuban authorities have rejected such claims in the past, but analysts note that the country is experiencing its deepest crisis since the Cold War era.
