Hamas Faces Financial Collapse

Hamas is reportedly in severe financial distress, unable to pay salaries to its fighters or government staff, according to Arab intelligence officials.

The group’s funding sources have been significantly disrupted by Israel’s military operations, leading to a complete halt in salary payments to many Hamas government workers since last month.

This financial crisis has been exacerbated by delays in Qatari aid, which previously helped sustain Hamas’s governance in Gaza.

The economic downturn in Gaza has led to widespread unemployment and poverty, further undermining Hamas’s control and stability in the region.
